Oakdale Dog Shelter opened the doors May of 2014 as a Volunteer Only shelter. The shelter is completely ran by volunteers and functions on donations and fundraisers that the committee members hold. The shelter is overseen by Mayor Gene Paul. There are Five Committee Members that tend to the daily aspects of the shelter and they are Joelene Hartley, Toni Matheson, Susan Ballard, Heather Williams, and Sandy Strother.

Walking dogs
Playing with dogs
Adoption Events
Fundraising events
Helping with projects around the shelter.
